ENGIE has been building up its assets in Asia Pacific since the 1990s to help support the region’s development. The Group is currently making the most of its businesses in the area by putting environmental concerns at the center of its development projects.
ENGIE events agenda
Isabelle Kocher will take part in the Summit on 11 July, providing a keynote speech during the second session of the opening plenary on the subject of partnership and collaboration. She will be speaking alongside Charles O Holliday, Chairman of Royal Dutch Shell, Dr. Judith Rodin, President of the Rockefeller Foundation, Laurence Tubiana, France’s Ambassador for Climate Negotiations, and Park Won Soon, Mayor of Seoul (South Korea).
Themed events to share case studies and best practices
Olivier Biancarelli, ENGIE’s Managing Director for Decentralized Solutions for cities and regions, will participate in a session on the topic "The cities we want – successful partnerships for sustainable development" on July 11th.
Raphaël Schoentgen, Director of ENGIE’s Research and Technologies Division, will speak at the "Smart cities: scalable, sustainable and user-friendly urban innovations" session on July 12th.
European and Asian innovators will then come pitch their best ideas for IoT projects for local low-power WANs for an audience made up of specialists from ENGIE, SigFox and Nanyang Technological University, on July 13th.
Lastly, ENGIE’s hospitality suite will host a demonstration of the 3D simulator and demonstrator developed by the BtoT métier that is meant to help cities and regions make more informed decisions. This platform lets them:
